NEW Go SMPP engine · 1,380 msg/s tested on one server

Route, rate and bill every SMS in one switch

RouteSetu SMS Switch connects your customers and suppliers over SMPP and HTTP. It picks the right route for each message, charges it as it goes through and tracks every delivery report back to the sender, all from one web portal.

Features

Everything a wholesale SMS business runs on

From the customer's bind to the final delivery report, every step is handled inside the switch.

A fast SMPP engine written in Go

One compiled service uses every CPU core. It accepts customer binds, keeps your supplier connections up, and applies portal changes within seconds without a restart.

One message, end to end

Every step is logged, to the millisecond

When a customer asks what happened to a message, you can show them: which rate matched, which route was chosen, what it cost, how long the supplier took and when the handset confirmed delivery.

The message pipeline

Nine checks between submit and delivery

A message that fails a check is rejected right away with a standard SMPP error code, and the reason is saved for your reports.

Firewall

IPs that keep failing to bind are blocked automatically.

Bind and account

System ID and password check, and an Active/Disabled switch per client.

Number clean-up

A leading + or 00 is removed, so every format gets the same rate.

Screening

Blocked numbers, opt-outs, duplicate messages and fraud rules.

Content rules

Sender ID replacement, keyword filters and text rewrites.

Rate lookup

Longest-prefix match on the customer's sell plan.

Route choice

The rule's strategy picks the supplier.

Charge

Balance and credit-limit check. Over the limit returns ESME_RTHROTTLED.

Deliver and report

Submit to the supplier, reroute on failure, send the DLR back to the client.

FAQ

Common questions

Which protocols does the SMS Switch support?
SMPP 3.4 for customer and supplier binds (transmitter, receiver and transceiver), SMPP over TLS on its own port, and an HTTP API with delivery reports pushed to your webhook. WhatsApp and RCS can be sent first, with automatic fallback to SMS.
How fast is it?
In our load test one server peaked at 1,380 messages per second using 28% of a 20-core CPU and 62 MB of engine memory. We estimate 2,500 to 4,000 messages per second on the same hardware.
How does routing work?
Each rule matches by prefix and MCC/MNC with a priority, and uses one of five strategies: least-cost, failover, round robin, quality-based or static. The rate comes from a longest-prefix match on the customer's sell plan. Failed messages can be rerouted to the next supplier, and the route simulator shows which route a number will take before you send.
Is billing real-time?
Yes. The engine checks and charges the balance for every message as it is accepted and enforces each customer's credit limit. Long messages are billed per segment, and prepaid customers are refunded automatically when a message fails.
Can I bill in different currencies?
Yes. Each client and rate plan has its own currency. Exchange rates convert revenue and cost, so margins are shown in your base currency.
How do you stop fraud and abuse?
An IP firewall blocks addresses that keep failing to bind. SMS pumping detection watches for traffic spikes, new countries, sequential numbers and falling delivery rates, and can alert you or block the traffic. You can also keep blocked-number and opt-out lists and drop duplicate messages.
Can my customers log in?
Yes. Each customer gets a portal with their message history and CSV export, balance, invoices, rate card, live bind status and TPS. They can also change their own SMPP password and manage their opt-out list.
Will I be told when something goes wrong?
Yes. The portal shows live alerts for binds going down, low balances, supplier problems and queue build-up. The same alerts can go to Telegram and email.
Can I see it before I buy?
Yes. We set up a free live demo with your own login, so you can watch messages route, bill and deliver. Use the form above or message us on WhatsApp.
Do I own the installation?
Yes. The switch is installed on your own server from a ready-made image, usually within 2 days. Your traffic data and customer records stay on your server.
